Intro

The War against Hybern is over, and Feyre and Rhys are focused on rebuilding Velaris and the Wall, and acheiving peace with the other Courts. With the Winter Solstice coming up, Feyre wants to make sure that all the citizens of Velaris are well cared for. With this being her main goal, she is torn between helping the citizens or indulging in her own enjoyments and taking time for herself to paint. With the Solstice coming up she is expected to buy presents comma and as she is figuiring out what to get for Rhys she discovers more about herself-and what she wants for her future.

• It's interesting how this book now includes the side characters' perspectives

• Cassian trains the females who are taken adventage of to be stronger and fight back with confidence in honor of his mother who never did

• Cassian has poses named for Nesta can they just get together please.

• RHYS TELLS TAMLIN HE HOPES TAMLIN SPENDS THE REST OF HIS MISERABLE LIFE ALONE IN THE SPRING COURT AND IT IS A FAR MORE SATISFYING END THAN SLAUGHTERING HIM

• AFTER THE SOLSTICE WHEN NESTA LEAVES CASSIAN GOES STORMING OUT THE DOOR TOWARDS HER

• Rhus mom made all of Feyre's howns for hss future brude so all of Feyre's favorite dresses were made by Rhys' mom and Rhys says his mom would have loved Feyre

• RY6S AND FEYRE WANT TO HAVE KIDS TOGETHER

• Rhys buys Feyre a house and says to build whatever she wants and tells her to BUILD IT WITH A NURSERY

The Bad

• Feyre still has memories of Rhys and her father dying

• On the mountain similar to Ramiel Cassian and his mother were thrown out just days after Cassian was born because she was unmarried and he was taken away and thrown into Devlon's camp and by the time he was old enough to come back and look for his mother she was gone

• Mor gets a flashback of being nailed down in the Autumn Court and Eris not doing anything to help even though they were supposed to have an arranged marraige just because she slept with Azriel one time Eris is so cruel and should have died in the war

• Proteus clipped Emerie's wings who is his own daughter

• Nesta doesn't want to come to Solstice or any event and she says she has her own life now

• it's so sad how Cassian and Nesta obviously have feelings for each other and showed it when Cassian was dying in the war but now that he has recovered neither of them have tried to express their feelings and Nesta refuses Cassian even though she knows she wants him

7/10 I LOVED WHEN RHYS WENT OFF ON TAMLIN HE DESERVES TO SUFFER FOR TREATING FEYRE THE WAY HE DID AND KILLING RHYS' MOTHER AND DIDTER AND ESPECIALLY FOR TAKING THEIR WINGS BACK TO THE SPRING COURT AS A PRIZE. it's so sad how Cassian and Nesta obviously have feelings for each other and showed it when Cassian was dying in the war but now that he has recovered neither of them have tried to express their feelings and Nesta refuses Cassian even though she knows she wants him. I think the calm plot of the inner circle recovering after the war and that being the main plot of the book is interesting because we get to see how they interact with one another without the threat of war always looming, and we get more character insights into Nesta and Elain. I also find it interesting how there are perspectives from the rest of the inner circle as well as Nesta and Elain. At first i didnt really understand the plot when it was just feyre talking about her paintings, but then I enjoyed the book more once we got multiple charcter perspectives and more complex events.
