Intro

Nesta is living by herself, distant from Feyre and wanting to live her own life with no one to tell her what to do. Cassian knows how Nesta feels about him, but that won't stop him from trying, no matter how much it annoys her. Feyre decides she needs to change her living habits and makes her trainnwith Cassian, but Nesta tefuses. Cassian realizes that what she needs is to train alone without the eyes of others, so they start training. Nesta still finds Cassian incredibly annoying they fight all the time, and one night an argument between them has both of them engaging in a decision they both dreamed of but never thought would happen. Meanwhile, Nesta is getting stronger with training and convincing females to train who have been traumatized by soldiers, as well as trying to put off the threat of another war. Through it all, she discovers weaknesses about herself that she doesn't know how to handle. The training and agreement between her and Cassian brings them closer together, and Nesta finds a happy ending she never would have imagined could exist for her.

• NESTA ADMITS TO HERSELF IF SHE WAS FORCED TO SAVE CASSIAN AGAIN SHE WOULD AND SHE DIDN'T LIKE KNOWING THAT TRUTH

• Cassian says that every word and every language he knows vanishes when he sees Nesta

• Cassian says it wasnt true when he said he hated nesta and nesta said she has never hared cassian

• she was so distracted by the night before that he asks what her book is about and she says the book is about a book

• Cassian wont let go of Nesta and when he does and believes he won the fight nesta is so mad that she kisses him

I CAN'T BELIEVE NESTA AND CASSIAN FINALLY HAVE THEIR ENEMIES TO LOVERS MOMENT AND I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I REALIZED THIS WHOLE BOOK WAS ABOUT THEM. Nesta's progression from making bad life choices to refusing Cassian to finally realizing what she wants was such a thrilling journey because these have been side characters since the start so it was interesting to see them have their own story. The slow burn between them did not disappoint and I was not expecting the plot twists where it seemed like maybe they wouldn't get together after all. I'm so happy that Nesta finally got friends and someone besides Feyre who understands her since she was always viewed as sort of an antagonist since the first book. It was sad how Nesta always viewed herself in such a negative light but I loved this ending and thought it did the series justice. I thought there was well-written complexity of Feyre and Rhys' baby and it also was a great ending to Feyre's character journey as well.
