Intro

Back at the Spring Court as a spy, Feyre forces herself to be the same person she was after Under the Mountain so she can get information from Tamlin. She is careful not to send thoughts down the bond to Rhys, or else Lucien and Tamlin will scent the mating bond and find out her true intentions. When Brannagh and Drydan are intent on killing her, Lucien discovers she is going back to the Night Court, and ends up going with her. Now that she is reunited with Rhys and her friends, they face the threat of war against Hybern looming and all have to prepare themselves. Feyre has never fought in a war as the others have, and even though she does everything in her power to form alliances against Hybern, nothing can stop her from facing the truth that everyone she loves might not live to walk out.

• Rhys and Feyre communicate down the bond even at the spring court and feyre knows she is coming back

• Lucien is going back to the night court with Feyre to find Elain

• Cassian and Azriel save Feyre and Mucien from Lucien's brothers and take them back to the Night Court

• RHYS AND FEYRE ARE FINALLY REUNITED

• Rhys said he missed having Feyre in his bed but he missed having her as his friend even more

• Feyre has a nightmare and Rhys actually cares for her instead of ignoring her like Tamlin did

• The Bone Carver resembles Rhysand and Feyre’s son

• Tamlin believes Ianthe’s lies over his loyal sentry’s word who has worked for him for years

• Lucien’s brothers have found Lucien and Feyre

• Elain tried to warn Feyre and her friends about the ravens but they didn’t listen and now they have taken Feyre

• Hybern is now threatening Nesta for taking too much of the Cauldron’s power when she became Fae

• Hybern has already attacked the Summer Court

• Hybern just destroyed the Wall thaf seperates Fae lands from human lands

• Tamlin betrayed the Night Court and their alliances by running back to the Spring Court where Hybern was and Hybern now plans to launch an attack on the Summer Court

• Graysen doesn’t want Elain anymore now that she is a High Fae and mated to Lucien

• Nesta and Cassian like each other but Mor likes Cassian and is protective of him

• Ianthe shot an arrow into the Suriel’s chest and it died

9/10 The amount of plot twists in this book had me sobbing and too stunned to speak. I was speechless when Mor said she prefers females because WHAT she seemes like she liked Cassian and that’s why she didn’t want Nesta tlaking to him and she slept with Helion and she also seemes like she liked Azriel. WHEN RHYS DIES AND COMES BACK TO LIFE LIKE 5 SECONDS LATER THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE and cruel to readers with hope. There were so many plot twists in this book, Feyre's father dying at the hands of Hybern, Amren betraying Feyre with the Cauldron, the moment with Nesta and Cassian (which I'm disappointed nothing happened after the War I will be looking for this in book 4). This book was packed with things I could never have seen coming and it gave us a lot more character backstory with the multiple new characters that were introduced. I of course didn't like how Tamlin was just as toxic and controlling and manipulative that he had been before, but I loved how Lucien finally did what he wanted this time when in the other books he always followed Tamlin's orders. I couldn't believe that Lucien's brothers were that destructive to him and to Feyre, and I really hope that we get a reunion or a realization in book 4 of Lucien and Helion being father and son.
