I love the complexity of Shannon and Johnny’s relationship and their deep backstories adds depth to their relationship. Both of them have vulnerability that they can only share with each other which strengthens their bond and adds more depth to their characters. The cliffhanger ending how it did delivered so many unanswered questions and I need to see how their relationship progresses.  Johnny and Shannon giving into their feelings for each other 562 pages in is the definition of a slow burn and I hope that the next book continues to explore their story.
