Ignite Me: Book 3 in the Shatter Me Series

Intro

After being kidnapped and shot by Anderson, Juliette is now safe with Warner but believes her friends are dead. Warner has to hide Juliette which allows her to know more secrets of his, including that he still loves her. Juliette still needs to see if her friends are alive, especially Adam.  Warner promises to get her out of his house only if Juliette agrees to help him kill Anderson. She goes back to Adam's house and is greeted with his hostility about their breakup. When Warner shows up at Adam's house to take Juliette back, she refuses. She doesn't want to leave her friends and announces she will be the one leading the resistance against The Reestablishment. Adam kicks her out of his house, which forces Warner to let everyone stay at base just so he can be with Juliette. As she faces problems and successes with both Warner and Adam, Juliette is ready to win because she knows that is the only way to survive. Once she does, she will take over the world.

• WARNER SAVED JULIETTE'S LIFE IN UNRAVEL ME WHEN HE TOUCHED SONYA AND SARA AND TRANSFERRED THEIR POWERS THROUGH HIM TO JULIETTE WHEN SHE WAS SHOT IN THE CHEST BY ANDERSON AND NOW SHE ACTUALLY REALIZES HE SAVED HER LIFE

• Juliette finally admits to herself that she should be the one to lead the resistance against the reestablishment since everyone else is gone and she has nothing to lose and she could never say it before bc castle already had a plan

• WARNER SAYS THE OTHER SOLDIERS ARE ANIMALS AND JULIETTE HAS SPENT THE MAJORITY OF HER LIFE LOCKED AWAY HAS NOT THAT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE IS

• Even though Warner and Juliette have fights warner still understands how hard it is for Juliette and he still cares so deeply about her and always wants to make sure she is okay even after a big fight

• Warner asks Juliette what Adam did that could possibly make Juliette so attracted to him and she says it was because he was so kind to her and this shocks him that all Adam was was kind and offered her basic charity and he closes the gap between them so their lips are almost touching and says that she wants to be with him and she's ashamed and terrified and it's killing her and she breaks away and he says she needs to live and she needs to be alive and he tells her to come back to life and he will be here when she wakes up

• YES YES FINALLY ADAM TELLS WARNER HES NOT TAKING JULIETTE ANYWHERE BUT JULIETTE YELLS AT ADAM TO STOP AND SAYS AHE DOESN'T NEED HIS PERMISSION AND SHES NOT HIDING ANYMORE AND IF HE LOVED HER HE WOULDNT STAND IN HER WAY

• WARNER GIVES KENJI AND EVERYONE ELSE EVERYTHING THAT THEY WANT ON BASE JUST SO JULIETTE WILL STAY WITH HIM BECAUSE SHE ASKED HIM TO AND DOESN'T WANT TO LEAVE HER FRIENDS BUT HE ONLY CARES ABOUT JULIETTE AND HE ONLY DOES THIS FOR HER

• JULIETTE SAYS LOVING ADAM WAS JUST AN ILLUSION BECAUSE THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME SHE EVER FELT ANYTHING LIKE THAT AND WARNER BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER AND HE WOULD NEVER LET HER DIE EVEN WHEN SHE DIDN'T LOVE HIM AND YELLED AT HIM AND SHE AND ADAM BOTH FELL IN LOVE WITH THE ILLUSION OF SOMETHING MORE

• WARNER LOVES JULIETTE BUT JULIETTE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE FEELS AND SHE SAYS HE WANTS MORE BUT WHAT SHE NEEDS IS HIM TO BE HER FRIEND AND HE SAYS HER FRIENDSHIP WOULD BE THE END OF HIM

• SHE TELLS KENJI THAT SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH WARNER BUT WHATEVER IT IS SHES NEVER FELT IT WITH ADAM

• AFTER JULIETTE MAKES THE ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE CIVILIANS JOINING THE RESISTANCE WARNER SAYS SHE WILL GO ONTO GREAT THINGS AND HE HAS NEVER DESERVED HER

• Warner says he can never hate Adam now that he knows all of Adam’s anger comes from his relationship with their father and he asks Juliette if it would be ok if he spent time with Adam

• SHE SHOOTS ANDERSON TWICE IN THE FOREHEAD ONCE FOR ADAM AND ONCE FOR WARNER AND SHE KILLS HIM

• SHE TELLS THE MICROPHONE THAT IS CONNECTED TO ALL THE SPEAKERS IN THE SECTOR THAT ANDERSON IS DEAD AND THR WAR IS OVER AND SHE WILL LEAD THE NATION AND THAT SHE WILL CHALLENGE ANYONE WHO STANDS AGAINST HER

• Since Juliette and Warner have been away from the battle they don't know what's going on and obviously no one knows that Adam and the rest of the people at omega point found safety so Juliette and Adam think everyone from omega point is dead

• ANDERSON CAPTURED SONYA AND SARA AND TOOK THEM BACK TO THE CAPITAL

• Warner's mother cannot be touched by anyone or herself the act of her skin touching itself causes her extreme pain so she cannot even move and because she gave up on life as a result of the pain and just suffered Anderson drugged her that's so horrible so now she is just locked up in a room on drugs

• The torture chamber with the child was just a simulation and none of it was actually real and Warner explains that they use it to train soldiers and can make it look like any kind of situation but it was all false but he still lied to her

• NO OMEGA POINT IS DESTROYED AND NOW IT'S JUST A HUGE HOLE IN THE GROUND

• ADAM IS SO STUPID HE CARES WAY TOO MUCH ABOUT HIS BREAKUP WITH JULIETTE HE NEEDS TO JUST ACCEPT THAT THEY ARE BROKEN UP ALREADY AND SHE DOESN'T WANT HIM ANYMORE WHEN SHE IS GOING TO FIGHT WITH WARNER AND PEOPLE FROM OMEGA POINT ARE JOINING HER SIDE HE ASKS HER WHAT ABOUT OUR RELATIONSHIP LIKE SHE BROKE UP WITH HIM TWO BOOKS AGO ALREADY MOVE ON

• WHEN JULIETTE WALKS OUT OF THR CLOSET WITH WARNER ADAM SAYS HE CANT EVEN LOOK AT HER AND SHE PROTESTS THAT THEY WEREN'T EVEN DOING ANYTHING AND SHE TRIES TO MAKE HIM BELIEVE IT WAS INNOCENT BUT WHY IS SHE DEFENDING HERSELF TO HIM AFTER SHE JUST TOLD WARNER SHE DOESN'T KNOW IF SHE LOVES HIM THEY BROKE UP ALREADY FOR A GOOD REASON WHAT IS GOING ON

• Adam says she looks at Warner like she's in love with him and she used to look at him like that and he knows her so well and Kenji says maybe he doesn't and Adam says HE WAS HAPPIER WHEN HE THOUGHT SHE WAS DEAD and Kenji says he doesn't mean that and Adam says THINKING SHE WAS DEAD WAS SO MUCH BETTER AND IT HURT SO MUCH LESS THEN HER CHOOSING WARNER INSTEAD OF HIM

• OH MY GOD ANDERSON USED A WHIP ON WARNER TO CUT HIS BACK EVERY YEAR FROM WHEN HE WAS FIVE TO WHEN HE WAS 18 THATS SO HORRIBLY AWFUL

• NO NO NO KENJI TOLD ADAM THAT JULIETTE MISSES HIM AND SHE IS STILL IN LOVE WITH HIM JUST TO MAKE HIM COME TO WHERE EVERYONE IS AND KENJI JUST MISSES JAMES BUT ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THAT IS TRUE

• UGH ADAM SAYS JULIETTE IS INSANE IF SHE THINKS ITS OK TO BE WITH WARNER

• It is Warner's mom's birthday and he is going to visit her and the ring on his finger he says that she gave him on his sixth birthday when they were hiding from Anderson and she said that Warner's eyes were such a captivating green color and a man looked around the whole world for a stone exactly that color and made the ring out of the stone and the man had given it to Warner's mom hoping that one day she would give it to Warner and he says that ring is the only gift anyone's ever given him that is so tragic and heartbreaking and now his mom doesn't even remember who he is anymore

• Adam is so mad that Kenji is always defending Juliette and says that Kenji can have her but Kenji doesn’t even like her Adam just needs to let go of this breakup why is he still mad about it when Juliette keeps telling him they can't be together

Rating: 6.5/10 ADAM PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH THIS WHOLE ENTIRE BOOK HE WAS JUST COMPLAINING ALL THE TIME ABOUT HIS BREAKUP WHICH HAPPENED TWO BOOKS AGO AND IT MADE ME SO SO ANGRY AND ANNOYED BUT ALL THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED WITH JULIETTE AND WARNER WERE THE BEST PART OF THE BOOK
