Rating
10/10 Right away I was hooked on the tension between Vuk and Ayana and the never ending attraction between them kept me on the edge of my seat. It broke my heart when Vuk told Ayana they couldn't have an affair at her apartment, especially because Ayana refused to tell him the full story about the arrangement with Jordan. The action of Vuk and ayana's wedding makes the story more conflicting, especially because vuk has to decide his loyalty between ayana and jordan. despite vuk's shady past, everything he does, deadly or not, is proof that he wants to protect ayana and he wants the best for her because he loves her.

I read the post about King of Envy and it showed how this book mixes emotion, conflict, and character growth in a way that pulls you into the story. Last semester when I was overwhelmed with confusing lessons I used expert help with high school level course work because I needed extra support to finish assignments on time and really understand the topics. That taught me that steady help and patience make challenges feel easier.
