I can fix him

Joey and Aoife are a couple, but Joey's habits are getting worse as an attempt to escape from his home life. He keeps falling back on drugs and making visits to Shane Holland behind Aoife's back despite promising to be clean for her, just to fall back into old patterns. Aoife knows those are just empty promises when he isn't really with her, and by constantly losing Joey she is also losing herself. When Aoife receives a world-altering piece of information, Joey is forced to decide whether to lose Aoife forever or give up all his temporary escapes to keep the one thing that is permanent. I am in awe of the emotional resilience and strength that Aoife has to always stay by joey's side even when it is tearing her apart. Even when he betrays her and their relationship is constantly falling to pieces, neither of them are willing to give up on each other.
