The tension between James and Rosabelle is so much stronger than it was in the first book. Everything is telling them to stay away from each other, but they are physically unable to. I loved the writing of Rosabelle's internal battle whether to trust the members of the Reestablishment or escape. The plot twist of her deciding not to back to the Ark for Clara but to stay and protect James was so shocking. I was FREAKING OUT when they were finally alone in the room together knowing they were supposed to be against each other and their actions proved otherwise with the tension finally exploding. Even when Warner forbids James from seeing Rosabelle because he knows about how drawn James is to her, he finally has to let her because James is the only one that Rosabelle trusts enough to talk to. It's confirmed that we get a chapter 55 in Escape me which I am SO EXCITED FOR.
