Intro

As Juliette adjusts to her new life as the Supreme Commander of North Ameria, and the leader of Sector 45, she realizes that her job is not at all what it seemed. Instead of getting bombed, preparing for war, having disputes with other countries, all the other Supreme Commanders are leaving her alone in isolation and want nothing to do with her since they think her leadership as a 17 year old girl is a joke. After getting guidance from Castle, she realizes what he and the rest of the world truly think of her. They think she is unfit and unresponsible to lead, and everyone has always secretly hoped Warner would take over the position. But Warner doesn't want to lead. He thinks Juliette is perfectly capable of being Supreme Commander. But as old people and memories enter his life, and he finds out a lot of new information about Juliette, he knows he has to tell her-even if it means she will hate him forever.

The Good

• I like how this book instead of regular chapters it alternates in perspective between Juliette and Warner

• Adam and Warner had a talk and Adam opened up to Warner about his past and family and his relationship with Juliette and now they are actually starting to understand each other as brothers

• WHEN JULIETTE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND SHE HEARD A VOICE SAYING EVERYONE SHE TRUSTS IS LYING TO HER AND THE SUPREME COMMANDERS ONLY WANT TO KILL HER THAT WAS NAZEERA WARNING HER ABOUT WARNER AND ALL THE SECRETS EVERYONE HAS KEPT FROM HER SO NOW NAZEERA IS THE ONLY ONE SHE CAN TRUST WHEN BEFORE IT SEEMED SHE WAS SO MYSTERIOUS

• JULIETTE JUST KILLED EVERY SINGLE OTHER COMMANDER AND EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON WITH AUTHORITY IN THE ROOM OF THE SYMPOSIUM BECAUSE AS SOON AS SHE STARTED TALKING SHE WAS SHOT IN THE FOREHEAD AND THEN SHE PICKED THE BULLET OFF HERSELF AND THEN EVERYONE STARTED POINTING GUNS AT HER AND SHOOTING IN THE ROOM

• A MAN AND WOMAN TELL JULIETTE THEY ARE PROUD OF HER FOR KILLING EVERYONE AND THE WOMAN SAYS SHE IS THE SUPREME COMMANDER OF OCEANIA AND THEY ARE HER PARENTS?????!!!!

• JULIETTE WAKES UP IN A BEDROOM WHERE THERE IS A LINE DRAWN AND ONE SIDE IS PINK AND ONE SIDE IS PURPLE WAS THIS HER AND HER SISTER'S BEDROOM

• WHAT JULIETTES REAL NAME WAS ELLA

• A PHOTO SAYS ELLA, EMMALINE, AND NAZEERA DOES THAT MEAN NAZEERA IS JULIETTE'S SISTER TOO

• JULIETTE HAS A SISTER NAMED EMMALINE THAT IS CRUCIAL TO THE REESTABLISHMENT AND THEIR PARENTS OFFERED THEM WILLINGLY AS AN EXPERIMENT BC THEY WERE LOYAL TO THE REESTABLISHMENT

The Bad

• It must be so hard for aaron to mourn the loss of his father while knowing he was so incredibly horrible especially knowing it was his girlfriend who killed him and he knows his father deserved it since Anderson was a horrible person and hurt many innocent people but he was still Warner's dad and he must be hurting double now that his mom is gone too and she didn't even know Aaron for most of her life but still the reason why she was locked up and neglected was because of Anderson

• OH MY GOD JULIETTE THINKS SHE MADE A MISTAKE KILLING ANDERSON BUT HE WAS SO HORRIBLE TO HER

• It's so unfair that Castle doesn’t trust Juliette at all now that she is Supreme Commander she appointed herself for a reason but Castle is still keeping secrets from her about Warner and being super vague about his opinions and it's also rude that he didn't think any of the other sectors would respond to her invitation she's now basically his boss he needs to trust her

• JULIETTE JUST GOT SHOT AND EITHER NAZEERA KILLED THE MAN TO SAVE HER OR NAZEERA IS KIDNAPPING HER

• CASTLE SAYS JULIETTES EXPERIMENT IS UP SINCE SHE KILLED A SUPREME COMMANDER SO THE REESTABLISJMENT WILL EITHER KILL HER OR PUT HER IN ANOTHER FACILITY

• WAIT WHAT WARNER HAS ALWAYS KNOWN JULIETTE WAS ADOPTED AND HE TORTURED HER SISTER

• There are other asylums like the one Juliette was in called Unnaturals and Juliette and her sister were the first Unnatural finds of the Reestablishment

• When Juliette was donated to the Reestablishment by her parents she was only five she didn't have her powers yet and her sister Emmaline was the one who got the attention of the Reestablishment and her parents were afraid of her psychokinesis

• Juliette had spent a month in a facility and showed no signs of an unusual ability so she was injected with a drug that destroyed her memories

• The Reestablishment put false memories in her head and was renamed Juliette and her adoptive parents were told never to tell her that she was adopted

• The reason that the rest of the Supreme Commanders are being so patient with Juliette and isolating her and not starting anything is that the Reestablishment has always known Juliette so now that she has declared herself as a leader they just want to see what she will do before they kill her and decide she is useless

• The Reestablishment has been able to take over the world and manipulate people so easy due to understanding the powers that Juliette and her sister have and controlling more innocent Unnaturals

• WARNER TORTURED JULIETTE'S SISTER AND WHEN HE MET HER SHE WAS LIVING UNDERWATER FOR SO LONG HE SAYS. SHE BARELY RESEMBLED A PERSON AND SHE WAS WRAPPED AROUND A REGULATOR THAT FORCED AIR INTO HER LUNGS

• Warner tells Juliette the truth about the Reestablishment and her sister and her family and she is shocked and hurt that he lied to her and she says she can't do it anymore and breaks up with him and I feel so bad for her that she let herself believe Warner was a good person when he tortured her sister and lied to her about her real family this whole time

• WHAT WARNER WAS IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DAUGHTER OF THE SUPREME COMMANDER OF EUROPE AND HE'S NEVER TOLD JULIETTE THAT HE WAS IN OTHER RELATIONSHIPS BEFORE HER THAT'S MESSED UP HE NEEDS TO TELL HER NOW

•   Oh damn Lena and Warner were together for two years and not only did he not tell Juliette but he left a message with Lena's mother telling her to let Lena know their relationship was over that's cold

• WHY IS AARON CALLING JULIETTE SWEETHEART DIDN'T SHE JUST BREAK UP WITH HIM

• JULIETTE JUST KILLED SIX HUNDRED PEOPLE AND BRENDAN, LILY, ARIA, AND IAN ARE ALL DEAD

• JULIETTE'S REAL MOM THE SUPREME COMMANDER OF OCEANIA COMES INTO JULIETTES ROOM AND ASKS HER IF SHE WANTS ANY FOOD AND JULIETTE FAINTS

Consistent readers of the Shatter Me series who love the constant never-ending plot twists (this book has some extra crazy plot twists) and fans of dystopian and romance in general

9/10 OH MY GOD THIS BOOK WAS ACTUALLY INSANE THE PLOT TWIST AT THE END AND THE PLOT TWIST IN THE MIDDLE WITH JULIETTE AND WARNER AND WHEN WARNER FINDS OUT MORE ABOUT JULIETTE THERE ARE JUST SO MANY. PLOT TWISTS AND THEN LIKE RIGHT AFTER THEY BREAK UP SHE GETS DRUNK AND WANTS HIM BACK BUT THEN THE NEXT DAY THEY ARE BOTH SOBER AND HE KISSES HER AND SHE RUNS AWAY?? I WAS CONFUSED ABOUT THAT PART BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS SO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND TAHEREH MAFI DID SUCH A GOOD JOB OF THROWING PLOT TWISTS AT US AND MAKING THE BOOK COMPLETELY UNPREDICTABLE I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND I ENJOYED EVERY SECOND OF THE DRAMA THAT THIS BOOK HAD
