Fake Dating

I didn't love Garrett in the beginning since he was perceived as just a jock who can only think about girls, but as the story progressed he got more vulnerable.  I FREAKED OUT when Garett and Hannah kiss for the first time, especially since it was just a bet, and then again when Hannah kisses Dean right after. It was devastating how right before Hannah and Garett's first time Hannah thought of it as a way for Garrett to "fix" her. I personally thought that the conflict when Garett finds out Hannah agrees to go out with Justin was resolved too quickly because their fight lasts two pages and then they get together. But I love how even though Garrett grew up the way he did with his father, who treats his new girlfriend the same way, Garett is not like his father and would never do that to someone he cares about. Garett's character arc is fully developed by the end of the story and while he was just trying to get Hannah to tutor him in the beginning, near the end of the book he will do anything to get her back. I am so excited to read the rest of the series and can't wait to watch the show!
