Intro
Sloane Kensington is a publicist and good at her job, except for handling her client Xavier Castillo. He is arrogant, entitled, and too much of a party boy to take anything seriously. When Xavier convinces Sloane to go on a week long vacation with him she thinks it will be insufferable. The more time she spends with him, the more she starts to find him attractive even though he is her client. But sometimes you have to listen to your heart even when every instinct tells you not to.
Tropes:
Grumpy x Sunshine
Forced Proximity
Client x Boss
Who else would like this
Fans of client/employee relationships and forced proximity tropes.
Rating
9/10 What makes Sloane and Xavier’s relationship so great is that they grew up with similar family experiences and that connection deepened their trust and vulnerability in each other when initially they were just in a work relationship, which is proof that even the most unlikely relationships can work.

I read the review of King of Sloth and liked how it talked about the slow burn romance and the deeper feelings between the characters in the Kings of Sin series. I remember during a busy reading week I used BTEC Assignment Help so I could finish my coursework and enjoy a new romance novel without rushing. It made me realize that managing time well lets you fully enjoy stories that pull you in.
